Solar-Powered Wireless Site Transformation in Australian Bushland

Jesse Falk
Set amongst the backdrop of Australia’s lush bushland, this build saw our expert team decommission an existing fixed wireless site, including removal of shelter and lattice tower. Collaborating closely with government agencies, we navigated the complex process of decommissioning and rebuilding this vital site. The decommissioning phase demanded a meticulous approach due to the presence of asbestos-containing materials, which we handled with the utmost care and precision.

In its place we successfully erected a monopole, shelter, and a 36-panel solar array, complete with all necessary compounds. This important infrastructure is pivotal in bolstering crucial radio communications across a national park. This site transformation serves both technological advancement and environmental responsibility for the region.
