Recently one of our large telecommunications clients engaged us to design and manufacture a switchboard to meet their unique system requirements, which saw the creation of a GSB switchboard suitable for applications where the delivery of electrical energy is business critical.
This switchboard is arranged to accept four permanent generator supplies and one mobile Generator Supply which all can run in parallel onto the common busbar system - in turn feeding the existing switchboards on site. There are eighteen circuit breakers installed in a back-to-back arrangement and the fully withdrawable Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs) are all controlled by a dual Redundant PLC system installed within the switchboard.
Designed and Manufactured in line with Australian Standards (AS 61439) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC 61439) for Low Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies up to 6300 Amp. Additionally, the switchboard system is verified by testing according to AS 61349 Parts 1 & 2, IEC EN 61439 and TR 61641 guaranteeing maximum operational and personnel safety.
Although the switchboard is unique to our client, this kind of design and manufacture is business-as-usual for our experienced and highly skilled team.
