Clean Energy is an Economic No-Brainer: And We’re All In

Jesse Falk

Simon Stiell, the UN’s Climate Chief, spoke in Sydney yesterday and his message couldn’t have come at a better time.

His thoughtful address really hit home for us at Decon Corporation. Clean energy isn’t just about doing the right thing environmentally. As he put it, it’s an “economic no-brainer” for Australia, with huge opportunities ahead if we get it right.

We were thrilled to have Decon Corporation’s Andrew Cowper and Alex Reyes in the room thanks to the Smart Energy Council. They’ve come back energised, with fresh insight into where we’re headed as a country and how we, at Decon, fit into that picture.

As an Australian-owned and operated company, we’re incredibly proud to have the official Australian-Made certification on a wide range of our products. It's a mark of quality, local innovation, and our long-standing commitment to supporting Australian jobs and industry.

From our Smart Power Cell and salt battery developments to the critical electrical and telecommunications infrastructure we build across the country, we’re helping drive the clean energy transition in a real, hands-on way.  Indeed, we’ve got some really exciting new projects underway right now that promise even greater benefits for the future of clean energy.

Australia has big targets for 2035 and we’re proud to be on the tools helping make that future happen.

Thanks again to the Smart Energy Council for the invitation to such an important event.
