We’re proud to announce that Decon Corporation is now an official member of the Smart Energy Council, Australia’s peak body for the renewable energy and clean technology sectors.

This partnership reflects our commitment to building a smarter, cleaner energy future through sustainable infrastructure and innovative solutions. As a Council member, Decon gains access to a powerful network of industry leaders, key policy developments, and collaborative opportunities that align with our mission to deliver impactful, future-ready technologies.

We're not just talking about clean energy, we're building it. For years, we've developed solutions that tackle critical energy challenges, particularly in remote and disaster-prone areas. Here are some highlights:

  • Smart Power Cell (SPC): A hybrid power solution delivering reliable energy during outages and natural disasters. Originally designed for mobile transmission towers, the SPC combines solar, Sodium Metal Chloride battery storage, and backup generators. Its intelligent management system reduces emissions, generator dependence, and costs. Over the past 5 years our SPCs have been widely adopted across the industry and deployed all over Australia, playing a crucial role in maintaining essential communication services and enhancing disaster resilience for remote and regional communities.
  • The Salt Battery: As the exclusive Australian distributor of the Sodium Metal Chloride (SMC) Battery (also known as "The Salt Battery") we’re transforming energy storage. Safe, fire-resilient, and made from 100% recyclable, non-toxic materials, it operates without active cooling and is ideal for Australia’s harsh climate. Its compact, scalable, and maintenance-free design is setting new standards for clean energy storage.
  • Solar Structural Insulated Panels (SSIPs): Through our QuadraSola partnership (with Solagenica, OCT Emissions Solutions, and GreenRen Power), we’re launching SSIPs that integrate solar cells into prefabricated, insulated building materials. Produced at our Scoresby facility in Victoria, these panels offer a sleek, energy-efficient solution for residential, commercial, and off-grid construction.
  • H2 PowerBox: We’ve contributed to the launch of this clever hydrogen-solar hybrid system. The H2PowerBox provides a zero-emissions alternative to diesel generators, offering dependable power for remote communities and disaster relief operations.

Joining the Smart Energy Council is more than a milestone... it’s a powerful step forward in aligning our innovations with Australia’s energy transformation.
