Earlier this week #TeamDecon were called out to a client to undertake an Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) inspection due to a failed component.
ACB is a circuit breaker for the purpose of protecting low voltage circuit, mainly for energising and cutting off high current and is designed to act as the primary point of isolation and for protection in the event of a fault or over current occurring on the system, thereby safeguarding the system up-line. Failure to operate can lead to serious consequences.
Fortunately for our client, we maintain a stock of spare parts from our RG Ladd warehouse and were able to carry out the necessary repairs to bring the client back online again.
