As 2025 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on a year defined by progress, growth and collaboration. Our teams welcomed new colleagues, strengthened our national footprint and delivered reliable network, power and infrastructure solutions that support connectivity for communities right across Australia.
In Facilities Asset Management and Mobiles Construction, we continued to support the availability and resilience of carrier networks through major infrastructure upgrades, mobile deployments, satellite installations and proactive asset monitoring. Our rapid response during severe weather events in QLD and NSW once again demonstrated the value of our national capability and deployment readiness with our Smart Power Cell.
Within Network Construction, strong performance across long-term agreements with leading telco partners including NBN, Telstra, TPG, VOCUS and Motorola remained a core focus. We also began gearing up for significant national rollout programs that will accelerate in 2026, while expanding our responsibility under key frameworks to help deliver the next phase of Australia’s connectivity.
Our Switchboards and Enclosures teams continued to scale in line with growing demand from data centre and infrastructure programs. Investment in capability and streamlined manufacturing allowed us to deliver high-spec engineered solutions and critical power systems more efficiently, meeting the needs of our carrier, data centre and government customers. Meanwhile, our Shop operations ensured essential components, power and cooling systems were supplied reliably into major technology deployments across the country.
Innovation remained a defining strength for Decon. Through our Research & Development efforts, we advanced our work in salt battery and clean energy solutions, further enhanced our smart controller platform and designed bespoke network solutions tailored to operational challenges in the field.
We were proud to share our expertise with the broader industry, contributing to important conversations at CommsDay Summit and CommsConnect Melbourne, while also deepening our global knowledge through attendance at international technology showcases including the Pacific Fibre Conference and the Battery Show North America.
We held fast to our three core commitments: keeping our people safe, delivering work that performs and ensuring value for those who trust us with their networks.
