Over a record-breaking two day installation, our Switchboards and Power Generation teams worked to completely overhaul the existing switchboard infrastructure.
As part of this project, our teams removed an aging Main Switchboard and replaced it with AS/NZS 61439.1.2016 certified Mains Switchboard with connection to Generator (800 kVA) and Solar (400 kW) capacities, enabling the client to run all electrical services on 100% generator backup if required.
The original system had seen considerable additions over the years – however further expansion was not possible without a complete switchboard upgrade to accommodate the client’s additional power requirements.
As part of this project, our teams incorporated concrete plinth expansion to house the larger system and utilised craneage removal of the old Main Switchboard.
To minimise impact or interruption to the client’s operations, our teams expertly installed the new infrastructure in a two-day period.
