The Pacific Fibre Conference 2025 was an incredible chance to see the future of digital connectivity in the Pacific Islands up close – and we were there for it. This first-of-its-kind event brought together leaders and innovators all focused on one goal: a stronger, more connected region.
For Decon, it was an amazing opportunity to connect with partners and key decision-makers for the region. Indeed, a standout moment for our team was chatting with Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister, Manoa Kamikamica, about how resilient power infrastructure is the backbone of reliable telecommunications. We couldn’t agree more with the sentiment: you simply can’t have a strong network without strong power.
As is always the case with these incredible events, our team came away inspired, with fresh insights on FTTH deployment, fibre/satellite convergence, and the unique challenges of building networks across the Pacific. We were proud to be represented at this important event, to be able offer solutions that help bridge the digital divide and to support sustainable growth.
The conference reinforced Decon’s commitment, not just to Australia, but across to our neighbours in the Pacific, and we’re excited to keep working with partners and communities to build a more connected, prosperous region.
