Earlier this week, #TeamDecon presented our innovative electrical manufacturing capabilities at the VIC Manufacturing Showcase.
The event, featuring over 80 businesses and drawing in more than 1,000 participants, underscored the dynamic and promising landscape of manufacturing in Victoria.
Highlighting the occasion was the unveiling of the Victorian Government's $10 million "Skills Solutions Partnerships Program." This initiative is a crucial step towards fortifying the state's workforce by fostering collaboration between educational institutions and industries. The focus is on creating and piloting innovative training courses, with an emphasis on adapting to the evolving needs of critical sectors like manufacturing, digital technology, construction, clean economy, healthcare, and social services.
In alignment with this comprehensive effort, the government is allocating $63.8 million to the Digital Jobs program and an additional $4.5 million to the Digital Jobs for Manufacturing program.
